LTJ Bukem, born on September 20, 1967, in London, England, is a prominent British drum'n'bass DJ, producer, and remixer. His stage name, LTJ Bukem, is derived from the catchphrase "Book 'Em Danno" from the popular Hawaii Five-O cop show, reflecting a playful connection to the character Danny "Danno" Williams. As the head of the Good Looking Organisation, he has been a key figure in the atmospheric or intelligent drum'n'bass genre. Bukem began his career by playing house music in the late 1980s and early 1990s before establishing his label and releasing influential jungle tracks such as "Demon's Theme" (1992) and "Music" (1993), alongside a well-known series of compilations. He was the resident DJ at the renowned drum'n'bass club night "Speed" in London and continues to produce music and tour globally today.
