Luca Nasciuti is an artist and composer based in London, known for his use of field recordings to create intricate soundscapes. His music is characterized by an urgent and physical quality, drawing from both natural and man-made sources. Luca performs internationally and has collaborated extensively with theatre, dance, and film. His latest installation, ‘Domestic Green,’ was developed during a residency with RSPB Scotland and showcased at Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow in September 2016. Additionally, his recent collaboration with Italian choreographer Daniele Albanese premiered in February 2017 at the Festival Les Hivernales in Avignon. Currently, he is developing a new body of work focused on the ‘edge of Europe’ while completing a PhD in musical composition at the University of Aberdeen.
