Luciano Simoncini was an Italian pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor born in Piedimonte Matese on September 25, 1939. He passed away in Rome on November 8, 2011. Throughout his career, he was primarily known for his work on film scores and music libraries, having composed nearly 2,000 songs. Simoncini had a remarkable ability to seamlessly transition between musical genres, making it appear effortless and playful. Described as a gentleman with a sense of irony, he was characterized by his exuberant friendliness and a vibrant personality, reflective of his southern Italian roots, filled with passion and energy, as well as a rich inner world full of color and sound.
