Ludus was a post-punk band from Manchester, England, active from 1978 to 1984, and centered around vocalist Linder Sterling. The band featured a rotating lineup, with Arthur Cadmon on guitar from 1978 to 1979, followed by Ian Devine from 1979 to 1984. The drummers included Philip "Toby" Toman from 1978 to 1980, Graham "Dids" Dowdell from 1980 to 1984, and Roy O'Shea from 1982 to 1984. On bass, Willie Trotter played initially, with Paul Cavanagh joining from 1982 to 1984. The saxophone was handled by Lee Buick and Graham Revell, both active from 1982 to 1984. The band garnered a vocal fan in Morrissey during their time.
