Ludwig Göransson is a Swedish composer born on September 1, 1984, in Linköpings Domkyrkoförsamling, Linköping, Östergötland. He resides in California, United States. Göransson has been nominated three times and won two Academy Awards (Oscars) for soundtracks between 2019 and 2024, including wins for Best Soundtrack and a nomination for Best Song for "Black Panther II." He holds a degree in jazz and, at the age of 22, moved to California, where he obtained a Master's degree in film music composition. Known by the stage name Ludovin, he worked as a producer in 2015. Göransson has been married since 2018 and has two sons.
