Lue Cazz, known for his contributions to music in the 1960s, recorded several songs, including the dance tune "The Walk" on the VeeJay label and "Change Your Ways" on the ArtTone label. He was inducted into the Delaware Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in the Class of 2018. Originally named Luigi, he emigrated from Caserta, Italy, in the 1920s. After starting a family, he opened a small corner store just north of Kirkwood Highway in Elsmere. Facing competition from neighboring supermarkets, he later shifted his business focus to offering submarine sandwiches.
