Luis Vivi Hernández was born on January 18, 1943, in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. He began his musical career with "The Crazy Boys," and there are suggestions that he had previously been involved with "Los Rebeldes del Rock" and other pioneering rock groups. Known for his casual and rebellious style, as well as his immense charisma, Luis Leopoldo "Vivi" Hernández Hurtado earned the nickname of the Mexican Elvis Presley. He passed away on December 19, 1977.
