Luiz Reis, also known as "Cabeleira" for his long hair, was a Brazilian musician and composer born in São Luís on March 12, 1926. He began his career in music in 1943, playing the pandeiro and collaborating in songwriting. Luiz Reis passed away in Rio de Janeiro on February 9, 1980.
