Lull is a musical project conceived in late 1991 by former Napalm Death drummer Mick Harris, who is also known for creating the ambient dub outfit Scorn. The aim of Lull was to explore sound without beats and to stretch or even forsake the structures of conventional music. Harris's initial work under the Lull name, titled "Dreamt About Dreaming," was released in late 1992 on the underground Sentrax label. While continuing his commitments with Scorn, Harris remained prolific, developing Lull through the recording and release of numerous 7-inch records, compilation tracks, and two additional full-length albums, each marking a new stage in his musical progression.
