Lynsey De Paul was an English singer and songwriter born on June 11, 1948, in Southwark, London, England. She passed away on October 1, 2014, in Chelsea, London, England. De Paul made history as the first woman to win an Ivor Novello award in 1974 and again in 1975. She represented the UK in the 1977 Eurovision Song Contest, where she finished in second place with her song.
