M. Geddes Gengras is a musician known for his diverse, synth-focused music over the past decade, both as a solo artist and in collaborations. He has been part of experimental groups such as Sun Araw, Pocahaunted, Robedoor, and Akron/Family. Gengras continues to explore the fusion of dub and electronic music through his project Duppy Gun, alongside Sun Araw’s Cameron Stallones, Alex Gray, and various Jamaican artists. One notable collaboration under this project is "Icon Give Thank" (RVNG, 2012), created with the roots reggae band The Congos.
