Mac Mall is an American rapper from the Bay Area who gained prominence in the mid- to late 1990s, contributing to the region's recognition in the rap scene alongside better-known artists. He collaborated with notable Bay Area producers and played a significant role in defining the local sound, particularly with his successful album, "Untouchable" (1996), which included his best-known track, "Get Right." However, his career experienced a rapid decline, and after a three-year hiatus, he returned in 1999, but few listeners took notice as the Bay Area scene had shifted. No longer signed to a major label, he adapted his style in 2001, infusing a notable amount of spirituality into his work on the album "Immaculate."
