Mach-Hommy is a New Jersey-based rapper and producer known for his tireless work ethic and the high quality of his music, which has earned him a cult following. His dense and tightly wound lyrics often incorporate deadpan one-liners and are deeply connected to the social and political history of his Haitian heritage, with many verses delivered in Kreyol. He is frequently photographed with a Haitian flag folded into a bandana that obscures his face. Highly protective of his art, Mach-Hommy prohibits lyric sites from posting transcriptions of his songs and charges significant amounts for his releases, most of which are not available on streaming services.
