Mad Doctor X is the undercover alter-ego of DJ Jason Carter, a veteran hip-hop artist known for his impressive career since the early 1990s. He gained recognition with Blapps Posse and their hit "Don't Hold Back," which was released in 1990 and has been repressed 57 times. Over the years, Mad Doctor X has been busy in the lab, crafting his unique beats under various aliases, including London Funk Allstars and DJ Toolz on Ninja Tune, Clusterfunk on Cooltempo, and most recently as Mad Doctor X on Freskanova. He is also recognized for providing scratches on The Freestylers' recent records.
