**Magic De Spell Bio:** Magic De Spell is a New Wave band that originated in late 1979 in Athens, Greece. The group was formed by a drummer, who remains the only constant member, a bassist who served as the main writer during the band's New Wave period, and a vocalist, with a guitarist joining shortly after. Their first live performance took place in September 1980 at Rock Club Tiffany's in Plaka, Athens. In February 1981, they played at Cine Κνωσσός in Athens alongside other acts. The band released the Nightmare EP, one of the earliest Greek post-punk releases, but by 1982, the bassist and guitarist departed. A new vocalist joined, and the trio of Skarlatos, Vlahakis, and Aslanoglou, along with additional musicians, released three albums: "A Body In A Snare" in 1983, "Kiss the Mirror" in 1984, and "Cpt Blind" in 1985. They performed live in October 1984 and again in September 1985 at Θέατρο Πολύτεχνο in Athens. Following the third album, the band went on hiatus, leading Vlahakis and Aslanoglou to form Alice In A Nightmare, which released an eponymous album in 1988.
