Magnum Force is a soul group hailing from Chicago, Illinois, founded in 1978 by brothers Rick and Rory (Star) Sizemore. Originally named "Seville," the band changed its name in 1980 after being advised by Carl Davis, the CEO of Carl Davis Productions and Records, due to another act recording under the same name. Their first hit, "Share My Love," was written by Rick and Rory Sizemore and recorded at Universal Studios in Chicago in 1982. The lineup of Magnum Force includes Rick "Star" Sizemore on bass and vocals, Rory "Star" Sizemore on keyboards and vocals, Nathaniel Williams as the lead vocalist, Myron L. Robinson on drums, Mark Vines on saxophone, Carl "C-Bone" Colmer on trombone, Kenny Anderson on trumpet, Dwayne Lidell as a lead vocalist, and Stan "Skibby" Winfield on lead and rhythm guitars and vocals. Throughout their career, Magnum Force has opened for various groups, showcasing their talent in the soul music scene.
