Makadem is a talented musician and vibrant performing artist from Kenya, known for his charismatic stage presence and powerful vocal delivery. As a singer, composer, author, and multi-instrumentalist, he plays the unique Kenyan Luo Lyre called the Nyatiti, an 8-stringed traditional instrument that produces catchy, trancy rhythms. This distinctive sound has attracted the attention of famous world DJ producers in the house electronic music scene. In addition to the Nyatiti, he also plays the Kalimba (thumb piano) and the acoustic guitar. Makadem offers three distinct performance sets: The Big Band, The Nyatiti Jazz, and the Electronic set, tailored to suit various events. He is widely traveled, with yearly bookings at festivals and diverse events around the globe.
