Malcolm Arnold
Malcolm Arnold was an English composer and conductor, born on 21 October 1921 in Northampton, England. He passed away on 23 September 2006 in Norfolk, England. Initially, he was a trumpet soloist for an orchestra, and later for another. At the age of 37, he decided to leave the orchestra to focus solely on composition. In addition to his classical works, Arnold wrote more than 80 scores and soundtracks, with his most famous being the score for "The Bridge On The River Kwai."
