Malika Domrane, born in 1956 in Tizi Hibel, Algeria, is an Algerian Kabyle singer. She began her musical journey at a young age, participating in her high school choir in Tizi Ouzou. In 1969, she achieved recognition by winning a gold medal at an Algerian festival. After graduating as a nurse, she initially worked in a hospital but soon chose to pursue a professional singing career, defying the customs of her family and village. In 1979, she moved to France to release her first album. Since 1994, she has been living in France with her family.
