Malory is a band formed in 1995 by three friends who were influenced by the independent music era and their favorite bands, including Slowdive, My Bloody Valentine, Lush, and Pale Saints. Their sound features spacey ambient elements that emerged from their rehearsal room, attracting a growing fanbase. Operating from their own digital recording studio, Malory aims to blend classic pop melodies with modern electronic and club sounds. In 2002, they found the perfect female lead in Daniela Neuhäuser.
