Valentine Caulfield and Scott Fair, who plays guitar and handles production, crossed paths a couple of years ago when their previous bands performed together in Manchester. Caulfield was captivated by Fair’s ambition to transcend genre boundaries, while Fair was immediately drawn to Caulfield’s magnetic stage presence and her intense, visceral vocals sung in her native French. They later brought in Liam Stewart, a touring musician known for his powerhouse rhythmic style, to complement their vision. Together, they emphasize raw energy and emotion over meticulous composition, aiming to create a unique and cathartic experience.
