Manfred Krug was a German actor, singer, songwriter, and writer, born on February 8, 1937, in Duisburg, Germany. He passed away on October 21, 2016, in Berlin, Germany. Krug gained fame for his roles in television series such as "Tatort" (1984), "Liebling Kreuzberg" (1986), "Auf Achse" (1978), and earlier in the GDR with "Wege über’s Land" (1968). He was also an accomplished actor in feature films, best known for "Spur der Steine" (1966). In addition to his acting career, he used an alias for songwriting credits. He was a father.
