**Bio of Manolo Muñoz** Manolo Muñoz, born in 1941 in La Barca, Jalisco Municipality, Mexico, grew up in a humble and hardworking family. From an early age, he took on various jobs to support his family, including working as an errand boy and assistant barber. He began his musical career with Los Gibson Boys, performing popular songs like "El Acapulco Rock" and "The Plague." After leaving the band, he embarked on a solo career, releasing hits such as "La Pera Madura," "Oh Beautiful," "Dale Dale," "Juanita Banana," and his distinctive rendition of "Speddy González." In the 1960s, Muñoz appeared in films like "My Soul for Love" alongside Enrique Guzmán and Angélica María, and "Youth Prevails" with César Costa. He also starred in "The Bracero" with Eulalio González "Piporro," performing "Pera Madura" and "Speddy González." He collaborated with renowned artists like Javier Solís and participated in the film "Dream Living." Over his career, he produced more than 30 albums, showcasing his unique style and ability to adapt popular songs.
