Manolo Sanlucar was a renowned Spanish guitar player, born on November 21, 1943, in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Spain. He passed away on August 27, 2022, in Jerez de la Frontera, Cádiz. Sanlucar was one of the leading flamenco guitarists of the second half of the 20th century, alongside notable musicians such as Paco de Lucía, Vicente Amigo, and Tomatito. His discography includes several influential albums, such as "Recital Flamenco" (1969), "Inspiraciones" (1970), and the "Mundo Y Formas De La Guitarra Flamenca" series (1971-1972). Other significant works include "Sanlúcar" (1975), "Sentimiento" (1976), and "Fantasia Para Guitarra Y Orquesta" (1977), among many others. His contributions to flamenco guitar have left a lasting impact on the genre.
