Manuel De Sica, born in Rome in 1949, was the son of renowned filmmaker Vittorio De Sica. He was a composer known for his classical, symphonic, and chamber music. Throughout his career, which spanned from 1969 until his passing on December 5, 2014, he composed over one hundred musical scores for film and television. Notably, he received an Oscar nomination in 1971 for his work on "The Garden of the Finzi-Continis."
