Maral Salmassi is a Berlin-based Iranian-German DJ and producer who has been active since 1994. In 1996, she founded Formic Distribution and is the owner of several labels, including TV Records. Maral was creatively linked and very close to a notable figure in the music industry until his passing in 2003. She also produces music under an alter ego.
