Marc Hartman was a Dutch producer, engineer, songwriter, and remixer. He began his career in 1984 when he met and started producing with a collaborator. By 1989, as his partner drifted more into House and Techno music, Hartman pursued other collaborations. He co-wrote T Spoon's "No Time To Waste," produced an album with Room 42 that included three hit singles, and created various Techno House tracks such as "The X" and "Anthrophia." Throughout the 1990s, he increasingly focused on engineering and recording activities, later working at a renowned studio. He was involved in numerous Chill Out projects and, since 2022, co-ran the record label Random Vinyl with Arnoud Aalbersberg, which specialized in re-releases of hard-to-find Dance Classics. Marc Hartman sadly passed away on August 21, 2024.
