Marc Jordan is an American-born Canadian singer-songwriter, record producer, session musician, and actor, born in 1948. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, as the son of singer Charles Jordan, and grew up in Toronto, Canada. His music career gained significant momentum in 1978 when he signed with Warner Music in Los Angeles. Over the years, he has written songs for and collaborated with renowned artists such as Diana Ross, Chicago, Kansas, Manhattan Transfer, Kenny Loggins, Bette Midler, Natalie Cole, Olivia Newton-John, Joe Cocker, Bonnie Raitt, Josh Groban, Cher, and Rod Stewart, including the worldwide #1 hit “Rhythm of My Heart.” Jordan has received numerous accolades, including ASCAP, JUNO, SOCAN, and Smooth Jazz awards. His songs have appeared on 35 million CDs, and he has recorded 16 albums of original material. Throughout his more than forty-year career, he has established himself as a successful solo artist with hits like “Marina Del Ray” and “Survival.” In recent years, he has also pursued visual art. In April 2019, Jordan released his latest album, *Both Sides*, where he explored his love for the great American songbook by recording classic hits from the mid-20th century with the Prague Symphony. The album features modern interpretations of songs including “The Nearness of You,” “What Are You Doing For the Rest of Your Life
