Marc Sadane, born on February 17 in Savannah, Georgia, moved to New York in the 1970s, where he made a name for himself in the club scene. He formed friendships and collaborated with notable figures, including the production duo behind several successful tracks. In the early 1980s, Marc released two albums on Warner Brothers, both produced by Mtume and Lucas. He also contributed to the New York garage scene in the early to mid-1990s under the name Sir Dane, working on tracks produced by various artists.
