Marcel is an artist associated with Good Looking Records' Cookin' Records imprint. He has released two albums with the German company UCMG/Mole Listening Pearls, titled "Viginti etduo" and "Cirrus maximus." In 2004, he released "Gambler's Delight" on Good Looking's downtempo sublabel, Cookin' Records. His latest works can be found on Good Looking Records' compilation "Earth vol.6," as well as tracks titled "Jealous" and "Solitudo 3." Additionally, Marcel records under the alter ego Carmel. In 2002, he released a 12" titled "Nujazzkiller" at Fluid Ounce, featuring the popular track "Harakiri blues," known for its unique blend of acid sounds and opera samples, which was frequently played by DJ Gilles Peterson. More recent Carmel releases are set to come out on Tru Thoughts Records, the label owned by Quantic, with the latest being a remix of Quantic's "Off the beaten track." Marcel is known for his distinctive live performances, utilizing samplers, synthesizers, and other equipment.
