Marco Bosco, born in 1956 in Brazil, began his career as a percussionist in 1974, performing with various bands. In 1977, he pursued formal musical studies under the guidance of Paulo Silva and José Ulisses Arroyo, both esteemed musicians from the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of Campinas - SP, and later with Claudio Stephan, a percussionist from the Municipal Symphonic Orchestra of São Paulo-SP. In 1980, he led the Grupo Acaru and recorded the album "Live at Hot-Crocket" (RCA/Japan) during their time in Tokyo, which was distributed in Japan and Europe. After returning to Brazil in 1981, he played a significant role in the early Brazilian independent phonographic production by producing, recording, and independently distributing "Aqualouco" (FIF/Brazil), the second album of Grupo Acaru.
