Marco Marzuoli (b. 1982) is an independent curator and artist based in Città Sant’Angelo (Pescara, Italy). He has been a permanent curator for the platform Lux since 2014 and has collaborated with Museolaboratorio since 2007, while also working in tourist and cultural management. Marzuoli studied at the Academy of Fine Arts of Perugia, earning a master’s degree in sculpture in 2007 with a thesis titled “Communities of Arts in Digital Era.” He furthered his education in cultural management with a master in “Economics and Management of Culture and Arts” from the University of Chieti-Pescara in 2008, and has obtained several certificates in the digital area. As a curator, Marzuoli has organized solo exhibitions for notable international artists such as Arnold Dreyblatt, William Basinski & James Elaine, and Thomas Köner. He has collaborated with artists including Richard Chartier, Christina Vantzou, Yann Novak, France Jobin, Lino Capra Vaccina, and Giancarlo Schiaffini. His curatorial work has been featured in events and festivals like MaerzMusik, The Long Now at Kraftwerk in Berlin, and the Supermarket Art Fair 2014 in Stockholm.
