Margie Joseph, born in 1950 in Pascagoula, Mississippi, began her musical journey singing in the church choir. While studying at Dillard University in New Orleans, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in speech communications, she pursued a professional singing career. In the 1970s, she found success with her renditions of songs by The Supremes and Paul McCartney's "My Love," and recorded several albums on various labels. However, she turned away from secular music in the late 1980s. Margie currently resides on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi with her husband and family. She was formerly married to a manager and radio personality in the early 1970s.
