Mari Iijima (飯島 真理, Iijima Mari) is a Japanese actress, voice actress, and singer, born on May 18, 1963, in Tsuchiura, Ibaraki, Japan. Known for her voice-acting role in the anime Macross, she was signed to JVC Victor in 1982. Mari writes and produces most of her own music and is skilled in playing the piano and other instruments. Her debut original album, Rosé, was released in 1983 and produced by composer Ryuichi Sakamoto. She currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
