Maria Rodés is a Spanish singer and songwriter born in Barcelona in 1986. She began her musical journey with the folk project ONIRIC before embarking on a successful solo career, releasing notable albums such as “Una Forma De Hablar” (BCore, 2010) and “Sueño Triangular” (BCore, 2012). In 2014, she released “Maria Canta Copla” (Chesapik), a unique selection of Spanish folk songs that garnered the attention of renowned artist David Byrne, leading to her performance at the Meltdown Festival in London. Throughout her career, Maria has collaborated with artists like Ramón Rodríguez (THE NEW RAEMON), Nacho Vegas, and Raül Fernández (REFREE). In 2015, she published a book titled “Duermevela,” which is a journal of illustrated dreams that includes poetic texts and her own illustrations. Maria has also contributed to soundtracks for films such as “No Culpes Al Karma De Lo Que Te Pasa Por Gilipollas,” “Vivir Dos Veces,” and “Villaviciosa De Al Lado.” In 2018, her album “Eclíptica” (Satélite K) won the Puig Porret prize for best musical creation project, and she shared the stage with David Byrne at the Noches del Botánico Festival. In September 2019, she joined the cast of the successful play “Las Bárbaras,”
