Marian Henderson was an Australian folksinger born on April 16, 1937. She began her musical career in the late 1950s, performing in Melbourne with the Rock n Roll band The Thunderbirds before quickly transitioning to jazz and folk music. In the late 1970s, she moved from Sydney to Lismore, New South Wales. Marian Henderson passed away in 2015.
