Mario Marzidovšek (October 21, 1961 – September 20, 2011) was a pioneering figure in the Yugoslavian and Slovenian old-school industrial and noise scene. He began releasing tapes in 1984, having recorded music prior to that, and was an active participant in the mail art network. Around 1988 or 1989, he ceased his musical activities and relocated to the Netherlands, later moving to Germany, where he performed a few times. In 1991, he returned to Slovenska Bistrica and remained silent thereafter.
