Mariska Neerman is a Belgian producer known for her unique approach to music production, which is both intuitive and unconventional. Instead of adhering to a specific genre or format, her music expresses her inner world in a dreamy and playful manner. Heavily influenced by the Detroit Techno and IDM scenes of the nineties, her sound evokes emotive and melodic electronic atmospheres reminiscent of artists like Drexciya, Plaid, and Orbital. While her creations often carry a slightly ominous undertone, they are also filled with optimism and a hint of nostalgia. Mariska began producing music at the age of 18 and was discovered by DJ Stingray through Myspace in 2009. This connection led to her first release, "Insolitology," on Planet E as part of the Urban Tribe collective. She has also released tracks on Bleep 43 and, more recently, Semantica Records.
