Mark A. Mitchell is a multi-instrumentalist musician originally from Florida, who moved to California in 2003. He was the original vocalist for a band formed in 1993 but left before they recorded their debut 7". He was replaced by another vocalist, and after Damien quit the band in 1995, Mark returned briefly, contributing to the EP "Deforestation" in 1996. From 1998 to 2001, he served as the lead guitarist for another band, and from 2000 to 2003, he was the live rhythm guitarist for yet another group. After relocating to California, he joined a new band in 2003 but left in 2007 to focus on his role as the new bassist for another band. He also performed with Thieves in 2005 and another group in 2009. Mark left Throwdown in 2014.
