Mark Hollis was a British musician and singer-songwriter, born on January 4, 1955, in Tottenham, England. He was the brother of an unspecified individual. Hollis gained commercial success in the 1980s as the lead singer of the synth pop/post-rock band Talk Talk. After releasing his critically acclaimed solo album in 1998, he largely retired from the music industry. He passed away on February 25, 2019.
