Mark James was an American songwriter and occasional producer, born on November 29, 1940, in Houston, Texas. He passed away on June 8, 2024, at the age of 83. James is best known for his notable works, which include "The Eyes Of A New York Woman," "Hooked on a Feeling," "Suspicious Minds," "Roller Coaster," and "Always On My Mind," the latter of which he co-wrote.
