Mark Shreeve was a UK solo synthesizer, keyboards, and electronics musician born on June 2, 1957, in Great Yarmouth. He was a pioneer of ambient and space music, utilizing analogue synthesizers and sequencers, and released several cassettes and an LP in the early 1980s. Later, he shifted his style to more lively, melodic, and rhythm-based music. Throughout his career, Shreeve recorded a number of library releases and worked as a session musician. He eventually returned to creating space music with the projects Redshift and ARC. Mark Shreeve passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 65.
