Marlene Sai, born in 1941, is a talented singer who released her first LP in 1959. She had the honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in 2008 and continues to give occasional performances. In 2004, she received a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hawaiʻi Academy of Recording Arts.
