Marvin Santiago, born on December 26, 1947, in the Santurce District of San Juan, Puerto Rico, was a notable Puerto Rican salsa singer. He gained prominence in the 1970s as a member of a band and later pursued a successful solo career. In addition to his musical endeavors, Santiago also worked as a part-time comedian on Puerto Rican television. He was affectionately known as "El Grifo De Nemesio Canales." Marvin Santiago passed away on October 6, 2004, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
