Mathematik is a multi-disciplinary artist known for his roles as an emcee, DJ, and producer, deeply rooted in the music industry. He began his artistic journey as a dancer in grade four, later evolving into a lyricist and learning to DJ. As a former member of the soulful Hip-Hop crew Down to Erf, Mathematik's background reflects the essential elements of hip-hop culture. His impressive roster of collaborators includes notable figures in Canadian Hip Hop, such as producer K-Cut, Sic Sense, Citizen Kane, Saukrates, and Dream Warriors. He also collaborated with Philly-based hip-hop queen Bahamadia on the notable 1999 single "Following Goals."
