Max Mohr, born on October 3, 1962, in Frankfurt, developed a passion for music from an early age. At 17, he played in a punk band, and three years later, he shifted his focus to art by studying at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, where he became particularly interested in multimedia installations. During this period, he also re-engaged with music. Mohr began creating his first tracks on the Amiga, and electronic music became a significant part of his life over the following years. After spending six months in New York, he relocated from Frankfurt to Cologne in 1994. His first maxi release, "Sweet," came out in 2000 under the Playhouse label. Following two more EPs, he released his debut album, "Trickmixer's Revenge," in 2006 at the age of 44, which is relatively unusual for a techno producer.
