Max Reger was a German composer, conductor, pianist, organist, and university lecturer, born on March 19, 1873, in Brand, Oberpfalz, German Empire. He was a prolific composer of the late Romantic period, creating over 1,000 works during his short life. Reger passed away on May 11, 1916, in Leipzig, German Empire.
