MC Serch, born on May 6th, 1967, in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY, is a prominent figure in hip-hop. He graduated from The High School of Music & Art and gained recognition as a member of a group that released two gold albums: “The Cactus Album” in 1989 and “Derelicts of Dialect” in 1991, along with “The Cactus Revisited” in 1990. In 1992, he ventured into a solo career with the release of “Return of the Product.” In 2003, he relocated to Detroit, MI, where he worked as a DJ at the urban radio station WJLB/FM 98 and hosted “Serch in the AM.” He later gained further visibility by hosting VH1’s “The (White) Rapper Show” in 2007 and “Miss Rap Supreme” in 2009.
