MC Shy D is a legendary rapper from the Bronx, New York, who was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He is known for his work with Luke Skyywalker Records and is the cousin of Afrika Bambataa. His early life was marked by tumultuous events; at the age of one, his mother chased him with a gun, and by the age of six, he had crashed a Mercedes.
