McAuley Schenker Group is a hard rock and glam metal band formed in 1986 in Los Angeles, California. The band was named after its vocalist and guitarist, allowing them to retain the well-known abbreviation "MSG" from the previously disbanded group. After vocalist Robin McAuley left the band in 1993, guitarist Michael Schenker resumed using the original group name, focusing solely on his own name. In 2012, Schenker and McAuley briefly reunited, but they did not record any new material.
